Robert Thain

Robert has a 20-year+ track record in asset management and agency. Following four years at King & Co undertaking valuations, office agency and development, he joined Frogmore Estates PLC in 1993, where he gained extensive experience in property management, asset management and office refurbishment.

In 2003, Robert was one of the joint founding directors of Vantage Asset Management Limited which to date, has transacted and asset managed over £350 million of property.

Robert is an expert in acquisition due diligence covering many property and portfolio acquisitions (over 150 properties), and refurbishing office and industrial buildings (over 580,000 sq ft). He has a very commercial approach to Landlord and Tenant law and always looks to maximise investor value. Robert has been involved in the setting up of numerous offshore tax efficient structures (SPVs and Unit Trusts) for overseas investors and advising on cashflows on the Company’s bespoke appraisal system.

Robert’s key skills are: asset management, landlord & tenant relations, investment appraisal, tax structuring.

Qualifications: 2(1) Honours Degree in Estate Management
